SEANNE PETERS BORN: 1992 Community: Warmun Area: Kimberley
Seanne was born in Kununurra in 1992. She went to primary school in Warmun at the Ngalangangpum Community School and attended high school in Wongutha. Seanne paints her grandmother Eileen Bray's country in and around Purnululu (the Bungle Bungles). She also takes as her subject her other grandmother Mabel Juli's country around Springvale Station. Both Bray and Juli have passed on the Ngarrangkanri (Dreamings) associated with their country to Seanne. © Warmun Arts
